Andrassy Street (Utca) is the main boulevard in Budapest. It is great for walks alongside the beautiful turn-of-the-century buildings or people watching in one of the many cafés.
Budapest, Hungary’s capital, is bisected by the River Danube. Its 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with flat Pest. A funicular runs up Castle Hill to Buda’s Old Town, where the Budapest History Museum traces city life from Roman times onward. It is cited as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe ranked as "the world's second best city" by Conde Nast Traveller and "Europe's 7th most idyllic place to live" by Forbes.
